Sam's Throne

Though Sam’s Throne is most commonly known as known as a rock climbing area, it is also an extremely popular destination for hiking, camping and photography. The views into Big Creek Valley are absolutely stunning.

Over the years, Sam’s has been developed into a top notch climbing destination for traditional, top rope and bouldering styles of climbing. While there are sport lines, they are few and far between. The climbs on wonderful Atoka Sandstone range in rating between 5.6 and 5.13.
